Google Maps will take you right to the house!
Our house is nestled along West Center Rd, which is a public country road and well maintained by the town of Otis MA. Portions of the road are single lane and unpaved, but again are generally well-maintained. You can reach the house from either the east, via the town of Otis where Hwy 8 and 23 meet, or from the west from Tyringham Rd near the junction with Hwy 23.
Spring in the Berkshires is called Mud Season as the ground thaws and the rains come. The towns do their best to keep the roads clear and accessible, but it is after all called mud season for a reason here in the Berkshire Mountains and AWD vehicles are always a handier bet, and recommended. Similarly, in winter the town does their best to keep the road sanded and plowed, but snow comes quickly and often in the Berkshires, so more capable vehicles are often more reliable.
Please note, the town sometimes places a sign at our road to close it off to non-local traffic, but be assured that the road is indeed open to local traffic!
